SWAMP DWELLER

I love painting Mermen, and this is one of them. He's a night creature living in the deep bayou swamp and since it's a full moon--he's going to be out and about. I have given him webbed fingers and a reptilian caste to his tail. Note the phosphorescent glow that is prevalent in the swamp due to the rich chemical deposits coming from decomposing material. Eerie quality to this scene--but he more than makes up for it!
